With a shared interest in characterful homewares and craftsmanship, we are delighted to be collaborating with Faith Walmsley and Nick Cole of Walmsley and Cole to bring you The Joy Lamp.
We believe that a beautifully made lamp is a work of art for the home. The Joy Lamp - reminiscent of old English charm and striped umbrellas on a Mediterranean beach - is a statement piece that is sure to inject personality, playfulness and an upbeat energy to your home.
THE LAMP BASE
Hand crafted by Nick Cole, the base is made from wind felled Macrocarpa off the family farm. It's hand turned, painted, and finished with a clear, gloss lacquer in Walmsley and Cole's Waiuku workshop.

THE LAMP SHADE
Hand made and pleated by Emma Cheape of The Brim Label in her Hawkes Bay studio.
Materials:
Stripe fabric 100% Cotton
Inner shade lining PVC
White metal shade frame
MEASUREMENTS
Total height - 47cm
Lamp base diameter - 14cm
Diameter of shade at widest point - 36cm
Side length of shade - 21.5cm
Each lamp has been safety tagged and tested and includes a brass fitting, 165cm length of brown flex cord, black plug and an LED bulb.
ORDERING & DELIVERY
As each lamp takes many hours to complete and is passed through multiple hands, we will be taking pre orders. The pre ordering window is open for two weeks only - Wednesday 8th March until Wednesday 22nd March 2023. Once the ordering window has closed we will get on to hand crafting your lamp.
Delivery can be expected 6 weeks after purchase. If you are in Hawkes Bay, you are welcome to pick up your lamp from The Brim Label studio in Clive.
