Evolving #4

Evolving #4 is an original straw artwork by Emma Cheape, 2025. Individual strands of wheat straw braid have been sewn together, then hand stitched atop a natural woven fabric. It's one of four in the 'Evolving' series. 

Materials: Wheat straw braid, cotton embroidery thread, a woven natural fibre derived from the banana plant family.

Framing: Scalloped-edge ash timber frame with a dark brown stain and Danish oil finish. Museum glass. Custom made by Redican Framing.

Framed size: 45.5cm x 42.5cm

Shipping: Please note - you won't be charged for shipping at checkout. Once your artwork order is received, a seperate invoice will be emailed out so the exact delivery price is correct depending on your location. If you live in Hawke's Bay or are visiting the area, you're welcome to pick up your artwork from The Brim Label Studio, Clive.
